The cholla cactus is a really annoying little cactus all throughout the southwest. Some call it a jumping cactus because if you brush by it, it will through pieces of itself on you like glue. Sharp pointy glue. These are made from the skeletons of those cactus. The wood is very hard but it's also stabilized in the process to fill and spots that might cause an issue, offering you the best chance for a successful turning. 

Pen Blanks are 5 1/4” long and range from 3/4” - 7/8” square.

NOTICE: You will receive a pen blank only, no pen is included in this sale. The pen in the picture is for representation only. It gives you an idea of what your pen will look like. Some of our pen blanks we make over and over again at different times to fill inventory. The item pictured will look similar to the item you receive but not exactly the same. The different items we cast have different visible characteristics. The colors will likely be close but not exactly the same. We do have a recipe book that we use to make these as close as possible each time but we can’t guarantee in any way that the blank you get will be exactly like the one shown, in fact, it won’t be exactly the same because they are all unique in their own way.

Turning cast blanks can be tricky sometimes. If you blow out your blank, we can’t take it back for a refund. Actually if the blank has been modified at all we do not offer returns. If you receive a blank that you don’t like for any reason and it hasn’t been modified in any way you are free to send it back at your own cost for a refund of the purchase price.
